"The Italian government is waiting for a response from the European Commission on the relocation of the 177 people on board the ship Diciotti. We don't understand why this takes so long. Maybe In Brussels they are still on holidays?" asked ironically Laura Ferrara, member of the 5 Star Movement's delegation in the European Parliament.

"The European Council conclusions are clear: EU must take the migration flows in charge because the Italian coast is European coast too. For this reason, the relocations of the migrants saved and landed must be automatic. It should not be the result of continuous bargaining. Many European countries have already implemented this decision. Italy is expecting solidarity and action from Europe", stated MEP Ferrara.
